  While St. Ann's is beautiful, its management staff is not. Four of us were hiking to the church Sunday September 18th when a horrible thunderstorm struck. We were drenched as we ran for cover at the church. As misfortune would have it church services were over and the patrons were departing. We ran up to the church when a man, I assume was the director stopped us and said they were closed. We pleaded to just stand under the eave until the rain subsided but he refused and turned us away to walk back to town in the torrential down poor. I guess St. Ann's staff do not believe in the phrase "to provide shelter from the storm". I growled every day after that as I walked by their sign that said "all visitors welcome". Not very Christian if you ask me.
  
  I received an email from the Priest and he apologized! Forgiven!
